Hi 2009

Im starting off 2009 with the most amazing thing you've heard this year. Im usually really selfish when it comes to sharing my top songs with anyone, because then i have nothing to look forward to when i play something in my car and people are like "omg whos this?", but this little gem has got to be heard! Im not really a big fan of Sebastien Tellier, but i am however an Aeroplane freak! Especially since they've done some top notch remixes in '08, and i could say this ones by far my favorite. A whole lotta disco and synths, yummmmmmm.

R.I.P.

Iconic 50's pin-up model Betty Page died yesterday in Los Angeles, she was 85 years old.

:(

This year Im thankful for,

Hercules and Love Affair,
and they're ability to make the most creative remixes in the biz. My day literally consists of work, and looking out for a new track by H&LA. Don't you just love discovering a new song and playing the hell out of it? I sure do, especially when i sit in a boring office for 40 hours a week and the only other noise I hear is the printer asking to be fed with more paper.. So I guess Herc has a new track called Wonder Woman, sung by members Kim Ann and Nomi. This should add another notch on their belt to they're already A+ debut album.
Gobble this shit up for your Thanksgiving weekend you fools!
See ya 5 pounds heavier and
May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have never a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!

Here is Tobacco's video for Hawker Boat, from his new album "Fucked Up Friends".

This shits bizarre as fuck and i love every second of it. Kudos to Beta Carnage for the visuals on the video and on the Cd Cover. If you havent done it yet, you should definitely buy the cd. Its available here. But hurry, cause there are only 1000 copies and im sure they're almost gone. I pre-ordered mine and it came a week ago, along with some crazy ass pics you'll wanna post all over your wall for that acid trip effect! For other Tobacco videos, go to pitchfork.tv
