Pre Coachella Thoughts

I just checked this years line up for Coachella... My emotions are running wild.
Awe, shock, amazement sums it up. My jaw is still on the floor, i cant seem to get it back up. Searching through the list of impeccable talent, i had one name in my mind and one name only. Thank God my wish came true, for Hercules & Love Affair will be playing this year!!! Among the many names, i made my "MUST SEE" list. Public Enemy, Glasscandy, Antony and the Johnson's, Late of the Pier, Friendly Fires, Felix da Housecat, The Ting Tings, Switch, and i cant forget the good ole fucked up Amy Winehouse. (I'll be good as soon as she sings "Love Is A Losing Game").
Im sure this year will be better than last. For sure this time I'm getting a hotel. I really don't feel like sleeping on rocks and waking up to a million ants on my clothes. I'll post some more Coachella thoughts up when April comes around, I'm sure. 76 MORE DAYS PEOPLE, CANNNNNNNNNOT WAITTTTTTTTTTTT!

Im starting off 2009 with the most amazing thing you've heard this year. Im usually really selfish when it comes to sharing my top songs with anyone, because then i have nothing to look forward to when i play something in my car and people are like "omg whos this?", but this little gem has got to be heard! Im not really a big fan of Sebastien Tellier, but i am however an Aeroplane freak! Especially since they've done some top notch remixes in '08, and i could say this ones by far my favorite. A whole lotta disco and synths, yummmmmmm.

Iconic 50's pin-up model Betty Page died yesterday in Los Angeles, she was 85 years old.

This year Im thankful for,

Hercules and Love Affair,
and they're ability to make the most creative remixes in the biz. My day literally consists of work, and looking out for a new track by H&LA. Don't you just love discovering a new song and playing the hell out of it? I sure do, especially when i sit in a boring office for 40 hours a week and the only other noise I hear is the printer asking to be fed with more paper.. So I guess Herc has a new track called Wonder Woman, sung by members Kim Ann and Nomi. This should add another notch on their belt to they're already A+ debut album.
