iME GUSTA!

I just recently discovered these guys about 3 weeks ago and now I'm totally hooked. Band members Sean Paul and Dominic are both 17 and live in San Jose, about an hour from my hood!
¡ME GUSTA! has a good collection of hip hop/rap remixes which include songs by artists such as 'Lil Wayne, Ying Yang Twins, Clipse, Fabolous and Birdman. Did I mention they also got a sweet collection of nike dunks? These boys sure know how to put their own amazing spin on these incredible tunes, and are sure to be to be some of the most played for months to come. My favorite remix from them, "megadrive" isnt out yet, but when i get a hold of it, I will be sure to bring it to you. As of right now they aren't playing any shows due to lack of equipment, but make sure to check up on their Myspace for any updates. They sure seem like pretty nice guys and i hope they make it big really soon!

I know, I know. First off I want to apologize for not being able to update this shit with music and random things for a while now; my internet got turned off at home for some reason, and now I have to rely on my computer at work that I can use to do my own thing for about 10 minutes, so heres a little somthin' im into right now.

Did anyone watch I Love Money last night? The reality show premiered Sunday night on Vh1. Im a total vh1 junkie, so i was totally stoked to see it! The show is basically about 15 popular cast members from seasons 1 & 2 of I Love new york, Flavor of lOve, and Rock of Love, who take their chance at winning $250,000.



They got to their house,

got asked what they would do with their money, while this bitch talked about her saggy boobs. (i hate her)


Megan said she would help raise awareness to help mentally ill dogs, just like hers.


The first challenge was to put as much money as they could in their bikini.



The 2 players with the most money become team captains and get to choose their own team.
Some tried bribing the captains to pick them by doing push-ups.


Midget Mac wasnt chosen do to the lack of not wanting to wear his speedo for the challenge, which made the team captains know if he couldnt do that, he probably wasnt going to be an asset to the team.

he went home, (thank god)


and got his check voided.


As you can tell im really into this show, and YOU should def. watch it too.

La La La La La

Last night i went to the club, ready to get my fancy footwork on, and as soon as i walked in, it seriously felt like i entered a damn sauna at
Gold's Gym. it was soo packed and hott and peeps were sweating like crazy by 11! This one guy was like really prepared for the worst, cause when i walked into the bathroom, i saw him, and others, taking turns straightening their wet hair with the tiniest little portable flatiron ive ever seen in my life! It was sooo hilarious. I was pretty much over not finding a place to dance, and seeing all kinds of 12 yr. olds walking around with cigarettes, so we left the club around 12:30ish, and took our asses to jack in the box for a late night snack. You know when you've been stressed for a while about something, and you kinda binge on food to make u feel better? Well, the large coke and sourdough jack did just that! It made a hell of a difference in my life, i cant even explain it! But ill tell u what, this song by Hannah Holland makes me feel kinda the same way. The lyrics are cool, and as cheesy as it sounds, they describe how ive been feeling lately. Its a damn good song. Anyway, 'nuff talk, more music. Here ya go.

Weekend Warrior

So, basically im really excited for this weekend a whole lot, I havent been outta the house in months and i actually came up with some pretty sweet plans for the weekend! thrift store shopping with the bestie that just came back from Texas, dinner, watching 'The Happening', and 2 parties!? did i mention one of them is including a stripper!?????? yup, this is gonna be a weekend of many memories and maybe even some shame. Anywho, I havent heard anything from Gorillaz in a while, so thank god for Soulwax for this new mix that just hit the net a few days ago. I dont have much to say about this song so au revoir for now. Could it be love? or this remix? Its definately both! I love Ladyhawke and any remix that comes from Cut Copy. These 2 amazing talents together is pure gold! Not to mention the outerspace/jungle sounds that Cut Copy edited into it are super sick!

Coldplagiarism?

Yes, you've heard right, Coldplay stole their new song "viva la vida"
from a little known band named Creaky Boards. Creaky Boards version is ironically called "the songs i didnt write".
Here is the link to the bands blog talking about the whole coldplay drama and how they plagiarized their song. hahahaha i find this hilarious and sad and i feel bad for the band that came up with this song because now some creepy looking bearded guy on a itunes commercial is straight up jacking them for their shit and taking the cred.
