Big ups to Luke and Ryan from dANA for sending me a free of charge package (that came in a grey goose vodka cardboard box) which included albums VVSSTA, Pink Star, Adult Weekend, and a gold tape by Luke Perry, "Midnight Perry". I have to say I've never seen any album covers like this, with such detail and gnar spray paint on the discs, and tracklisting sheet with Hannah Montana on it hahaha. Guess i gotta make a stop at a thrift store tomorrow to by myself a tape player to listen to Midnight Perry, then on Monday i'll be in the process of getting the tape onto CD, UGHHH sooo good. l8eRRRr doodzZ. c ya on the interwebzzzz.

Originally a private press CDR from 2001, The Autumn Kaleidoscope Got Changed was never properly released, and mainly just given out to friends. Some material made it onto the first real BMSR album, Falling Through A Field in 2003, but Autumn's sound is more fragile, haunted and acoustic. Included on a specially etched record is EP, Sing To Us, an even less produced CDR made up of songs left off of the album.

A 2 member group, the EP was actually only made by one member, Liz, using her new casio va-10 that she found at a thrift store for a cheapo $7. A vocoder is used to go along with the off the wall lyrics and usual kick ass noise and drone music.
She is a friend over at the new and improved BMSR fans message board, and i am very proud of her new work!

I keep watching videos i used to watch non stop of him doing his famous dance moves, and trying to see exactly how it was possible for him to do them so perfectly and effortlessly. This vid is probably the best one ive seen that showcases his best moves, and its one of my favorite performances. This is exactly the reason why he was called the King. His track was one of thee bestest on Tobacco's "Songs To Get Killed In The Woods To" Mix. Once heard, I started searching his work and became partial to his Lemurian album. Hes become my new muse, its that serious....
His latest stuff has a remix by the great Bibio! Pleasure your ears at your own risk! I recommend you take that risk though. All that being said, dont be lame. Support your favorite artists. You can buy everything Lone here.

i got it in the mail yesterday. (Seems like ive been doing a whole lot of online shopping). I listened to the album for hours and hours last night. This album is perfection. A totally different side of Tobacco from where he is now, a good kind of different. If only i would have known about him back then. This is a great album to spark up some greens and relax to. I cant believe were finally listening to the infamous AWF TAPES! I tried taking pics of the inside and disc, but my camera had no batteries. So here are pics of the front, back, inside, and cd.

You cant just buy the poster, so if your real desperate for some BMSR merch that isnt on the site, buy some vinyl. Actually, buy like 4 and use those Freddy Points so you could get some free shit from Graveface. Too bad this pressing isnt hand numbered by Tobacco. I think we've all had enough from Ghostly International, but this one is sure to blow your mind. I, absentee's debut compilation

I just checked this years line up for Coachella... My emotions are running wild.
Awe, shock, amazement sums it up. My jaw is still on the floor, i cant seem to get it back up. Searching through the list of impeccable talent, i had one name in my mind and one name only. Thank God my wish came true, for Hercules & Love Affair will be playing this year!!! Among the many names, i made my "MUST SEE" list. Public Enemy, Glasscandy, Antony and the Johnson's, Late of the Pier, Friendly Fires, Felix da Housecat, The Ting Tings, Switch, and i cant forget the good ole fucked up Amy Winehouse. (I'll be good as soon as she sings "Love Is A Losing Game").
Im sure this year will be better than last. For sure this time I'm getting a hotel. I really don't feel like sleeping on rocks and waking up to a million ants on my clothes. Tinsletown's got a new leading lady, and her name is New York. Finally, after 3 years of waiting, a show ALL about Tiffany Pollard a.k.a. New York and her acting career as she goes to Hollywood to become a legit actress.

I AM HER NUMBER 1 FAN, and have been before she found "love" with tailor made on I Love New York 2, before I Love New York Season 1, and even before ya'll jumped on the bandwagon when she made a special comeback on Flavor of Love 2, and this is why I am super happy they finally gave New York a show that was all about her and her dream to become an actress. I've already seen her in about about 3 guest appearances on T.v shows and i know this will only boost her career to another level! I just recently discovered these guys about 3 weeks ago and now I'm totally hooked. Band members Sean Paul and Dominic are both 17 and live in San Jose, about an hour from my hood!
¡ME GUSTA! has a good collection of hip hop/rap remixes which include songs by artists such as 'Lil Wayne, Ying Yang Twins, Clipse, Fabolous and Birdman. Did I mention they also got a sweet collection of nike dunks? These boys sure know how to put their own amazing spin on these incredible tunes, and are sure to be to be some of the most played for months to come. My favorite remix from them, "megadrive" isnt out yet, but when i get a hold of it, I will be sure to bring it to you. As of right now they aren't playing any shows due to lack of equipment, but make sure to check up on their Myspace for any updates. They sure seem like pretty nice guys and i hope they make it big really soon!

I know, I know. First off I want to apologize for not being able to update this shit with music and random things for a while now; my internet got turned off at home for some reason, and now I have to rely on my computer at work that I can use to do my own thing for about 10 minutes, so heres a little somthin' im into right now.

Did anyone watch I Love Money last night? The reality show premiered Sunday night on Vh1. Im a total vh1 junkie, so i was totally stoked to see it! The show is basically about 15 popular cast members from seasons 1 & 2 of I Love new york, Flavor of lOve, and Rock of Love, who take their chance at winning $250,000.

They got to their house,

got asked what they would do with their money, while this bitch talked about her saggy boobs. (i hate her)

Megan said she would help raise awareness to help mentally ill dogs, just like hers.

The first challenge was to put as much money as they could in their bikini.

The 2 players with the most money become team captains and get to choose their own team.
Some tried bribing the captains to pick them by doing push-ups.

Midget Mac wasnt chosen do to the lack of not wanting to wear his speedo for the challenge, which made the team captains know if he couldnt do that, he probably wasnt going to be an asset to the team.

he went home, (thank god)

and got his check voided.

As you can tell im really into this show, and YOU should def. watch it too.

Last night i went to the club, ready to get my fancy footwork on, and as soon as i walked in, it seriously felt like i entered a damn sauna at
Gold's Gym. it was soo packed and hott and peeps were sweating like crazy by 11! This one guy was like really prepared for the worst, cause when i walked into the bathroom, i saw him, and others, taking turns straightening their wet hair with the tiniest little portable flatiron ive ever seen in my life! It was sooo hilarious. I was pretty much over not finding a place to dance, and seeing all kinds of 12 yr. olds walking around with cigarettes, so we left the club around 12:30ish, and took our asses to jack in the box for a late night snack. You know when you've been stressed for a while about something, and you kinda binge on food to make u feel better? Well, the large coke and sourdough jack did just that! It made a hell of a difference in my life, i cant even explain it! But ill tell u what, this song by Hannah Holland makes me feel kinda the same way. The lyrics are cool, and as cheesy as it sounds, they describe how ive been feeling lately. Its a damn good song. Anyway, 'nuff talk, more music. Here ya go.

So, basically im really excited for this weekend a whole lot, I havent been outta the house in months and i actually came up with some pretty sweet plans for the weekend! thrift store shopping with the bestie that just came back from Texas, dinner, watching 'The Happening', and 2 parties!? did i mention one of them is including a stripper!?????? yup, this is gonna be a weekend of many memories and maybe even some shame. Anywho, I havent heard anything from Gorillaz in a while, so thank god for Soulwax for this new mix that just hit the net a few days ago. I dont have much to say about this song so au revoir for now. Have a good weekend and maybe ill see you at warped tour at Seaside park in Ventura? : ) Um ya maybe not.

Could it be love? or this remix? Its definately both! I love Ladyhawke and any remix that comes from Cut Copy. These 2 amazing talents together is pure gold! Not to mention the outerspace/jungle sounds that Cut Copy edited into it are super sick!
